Don't Let Damaged Gutters Threaten Your Foundation

Sagging gutters overflow onto walkways, patios, and decks. Wind, snow, and ice rip gutters off rotted fascia. Hail dents restrict flow. Tree limbs take out entire runs. Colorado's weather doesn't wait — and neither should your repairs. We diagnose fast and deliver lasting fixes, not band-aids.

  • Leak sealing, joint resealing, and section replacement
  • Re-pitching and re-securing sagging gutters
  • Downspout repair and rerouting
  • Ice dam & storm damage assessment and restoration
  • Not ready for a full replacement? We'll replace just the damaged runs.

Colorado Damage Gets Worse Fast

Denver's hail season, freeze-thaw cycles, and cottonwood seed season create damage patterns unique to the Front Range. A small leak in October becomes ice dam damage by February. A hail dent that looks cosmetic is actually a stress fracture that separates at the joint in the next hard freeze.

We give honest repair vs. replace assessments — we're not going to upsell you to a full replacement if a repair is the right call. But we'll also tell you clearly when repair is throwing good money after bad.

Signs You Need Gutter Repair

  • Visible leaks or dripping at joints and end caps
  • Sagging or pulling away from the fascia board
  • Hail dents or dings along the gutter face (CO-specific)
  • Freeze-thaw joint separation — gutters spreading apart at seams
  • Ice dam backflow damage — staining or separation at roofline
  • Cottonwood seed compaction — gutters overflowing despite looking clean
  • Stained or streaked siding below the gutter line
  • Plant growth or standing water visible in gutter channel

Gutter Repair FAQs

Common Questions About Gutter Repair in Colorado

Straight answers on what's fixable, when repair makes sense, and how we diagnose gutter problems across the Denver metro.

What are the most common gutter problems you repair?

The repairs we see most often are sagging gutters from storms, snowmelt, or debris load, and leaks at corners or above walkways. We also do a lot of simple downspout re-routing, moving water away from the structure more efficiently and with less of an eyesore. Those three cover the bulk of what brings homeowners to us, though a proper diagnosis always comes down to what's actually happening on your home.

How do I know if my gutters need repair or full replacement?

The best way to know for sure is to schedule an assessment. We're glad to do repairs for any customer, and we won't push you toward a replacement you don't need. When you're genuinely better served by replacing rather than repairing (or the other way around), we'll tell you that straight. Most of our inspections for homeowners who aren't sure end with both options on the table: a repair path and a replacement path, so you can decide with full information. See our gutter installation page for the replacement side.

My gutters are leaking at the corners or seams. Can that be fixed?

It depends on the situation. Sometimes yes, we can apply fresh sealant or replace specific components of the existing system. But sometimes the system has simply failed, and the corner leak is just the first symptom you happened to notice. Homeowners in this spot often ask us to seal the corner and guarantee it'll never leak again, and we'll politely say no. We're not being difficult: the honest truth is that if a gutter is leaking in one spot, it will leak again somewhere else unless the system is updated. Because one leak can reflect a fully compromised system, it's worth booking a free inspection and having an honest conversation about your real options.

My gutters are pulling away from the house. Is that an easy fix?

The good news is that when you work with us, our goal is for every project to feel easy on your end, no matter the size. Gutters pulling away from the house can be as simple as installing or refreshing the hangers. Or it can be a symptom of a severely compromised fascia section, which is a bigger conversation. This is one of those problems that nobody can honestly diagnose without a detailed, in-person look. If the fascia is involved, see our soffit & fascia page for what that work entails.

Why do gutters sag or overflow, and how do you fix it?

Gutters sag or overflow for a handful of related reasons. The root cause is usually some combination of debris buildup, outdated or compromised hangers, poor gutter pitch, or gutters that were undersized for the structure to begin with. Each one calls for a different fix, which is why diagnosing the actual root cause behind your symptoms is where our team shines. We solve the cause, not just the symptom you're seeing.

What does gutter repair cost in Colorado?

It depends on what's failing. Generally, gutter repairs run anywhere from $100 to $900 depending on the fix needed. Above that range, it usually becomes more worthwhile, and a better bang for your buck, to do a full system replacement instead of continuing to repair. We'll scope the specific work and tell you honestly which side of that line your situation falls on.

Can you repair gutters in winter, or do I have to wait?

We can repair in winter, with a little help from Mother Nature. We're open year-round and stay busy through the winter months. That said, we have to be mindful of ice, which can both limit our work and create significant liability for ladder-based jobs, and of temperature, which can affect how the metal behaves after it's installed. If you've got an active problem, reach out and we'll give you an honest read on whether it's a now job or a wait-for-a-thaw job.

Is it worth repairing old gutters, or am I throwing good money after bad?

It's worth repairing if you're swapping a damaged downspout elbow or extension, re-routing a downspout away from the house, or handling something aesthetic. If you're seeing real system issues that are creating (or about to create) bigger problems elsewhere on your property, then yes, you'd be throwing good money after bad. The good news is that we'll shoot you straight either way. We play the long game here. If we come out, talk through repair versus replace, and you decide to repair first, see how it holds, and call us later for a replacement if it doesn't, we're happy to do that. We're not going anywhere.
